AUT-2B-HOME IN CAROLINA ~ Teaching our twenty-five-year-old daughter with autism and aphasia, who is still learning about God, the world, and its people with a little help from Charlotte Mason
My secret: Use a small camera (more inconspicuous), stop caring if it is a good shot (I edit out the bad ones), and keep it at the chest level for better face-to-face connections . . .
So glad to see how Pamela is enjoying being your helper! Interesting about the dog- this is a big issue for Tim- I would have thought that Pamela would have been desensitized to that since you guys HAVE dogs in your home. Our new RDI consultant has a dog- it did effect Tim's ability to concentrate during our baseline assessment.
Pamela likes dogs and is usually not concerned. However, at one house on our route, vicious chihuahua mixes plagued David from the car to the house. I guess meals on wheels must have gotten complaints because this time the dogs were locked up! So, it was a good thing because she was using episodic memory of watching David face nippers at the one house.
